Hi! Here are some pictures of stuff we did this fall! Enjoy!

Natalie was a scarecrow for Halloween

For Natalie's birthday she had a party with some of her buddies. They decorated cakes and played games.

We spent a half day up in the mountains looking at foliage

We spent a day at the zoo.

More bad weather

Just a little hail this time around, but plenty of water! Our street flooded! Luckily we got the car out of the way and the house is up on a bit of a hill so it didn't flood, but as you can see, our street was basically a river. Maybe this is God's way of getting us to update our blog.

Everything's going to Hail!

Denver got hit by a couple of tornados today.  The tornado sirens went off, so we fled to the basement, we've never had to do that before.  The closest one that touched down was 12 miles away, so we were safe, but we did get one hail of a storm at our place!

Here is a picture of some hail that landed in our yard.  The golf ball is shown as proof that this is indeed "golf ball size" hail.  The Lego guy is to remind us all of our fragile and volatile nature. The Mini-Spooners in the background are both a metaphor for frugality and a reminder to have plenty of food storage on hand, you never know when there will be bigger hail on the way.

Here's a video of our yard after the storm.
